Louisville basketball vs. Chattanooga: how to watch, injuries, more for first game
UofL enters the season with lofty expectations, ranked No. 11 in the AP Polls and looking for a Final Four run. Louisville basketball hasn’t been to the Final Four since 2013, the Elite 8 since 2015, or the Sweet 16 since 2014. Now, many believe this could be the year that Pat Kelsey leads Louisville in a tournament run, and it all starts tonight.
Louisville and Chattanooga tip off at 9 p.m. local time, and we are here to break down the final odds and make some predictions.

Big Red Louie Predictions
Louisville and Chattanooga have played 11 times in program history. The Cardinals are looking to get back in the win column against Chattanooga after losing the previous meeting in 2023-24, 81-71. However, Pat Kelsey has made this program look much different since the last time these two teams played, which is why UofL is a dominant 30-point favorite.
We think Louisville dominates this one from start to finish and improves to 1-0. In this game, we think Flory Bidunga will make his presence known with a double-double and lead the Cardinals in scoring. We predict Bidunga to finish the game with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks. Along with a dominant Bidunga game, we see Jackson Shelstad hit three 3-pointers and finish with 15 points or more, and De'Shayne Montgomery continue to spark off the bench with at least 12 points.
Prediction: Louisville 88 Chattanooga 51
