Louisville basketball's 2025-26 roster appears to be set, but they actually just reached out to an elite 6-foot-8 Croatian forward who would fit perfectly with Pat Kelsey's roster. It was reported late last week that Louisville is one of four schools in contact with Ivan Bogdanovic, an elite small forward who can score at a high rate.
The 21-year-old can shoot from anywhere on the floor, can post up, hit fadeaway jumpers, can play through contact, and play with grit and physicality. He averaged 18.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while shooting 45.9 percent from the field for Croatia’s U20 team last summer.

Louisville basketball losing crucial 5-star SG battle to SEC giants
As for a recruiting update, the Cardinals appear to be falling drastically behind SEC giants for 5-star guard Caleb Holt. Recently, it was reported that Holt will make official visits to Auburn and Alabama this year, and is in contact about visits to Kentucky and Kansas as well.
The Alabama native ranks as high as No. 3 in the nation and the No. 1 shooting guard in the 2026 class. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound is given a 34.3 percent chance to head to Alabama, followed by a 20.2 percent chance to commit to Auburn, per On3 Sports. Ole Miss rounds out their top three with a 17.2 percent chance of earning his commitment.

Louisville football's Miller Moss earns high praise
Former ESPN analyst David Pollack dropped a bombshell of a quote on Louisville quarterback Miller Moss. Pollack picked Moss to be the best incoming transfer in the ACC, making it clear that the newest Cardinal will outperform the Miami transfer, Carson Beck.
While this is a hot take for some, it actually makes complete sense. Jeff Brohm has been developing elite quarterbacks his whole career, especially since he arrived at Louisville. Pollack's statement has Louisville football fans ready to run through a brick wall, and at the end, all he had to say was that Moss is going to "absolutely tear it up" for Brohm's Cardinals.
