Louisville football just pulled off the unthinkable and stole Vince Marrow from their in-state rival, the Kentucky Wildcats. The Cardinals' newest general manager has the potential to elevate this program to an elite level and help the Cardinals win their first ACC Title.

At Kentucky, he served as their tight ends coach and associate head coach, as well as recruiting coordinator. Jeff Brohm was apparently recruiting Marrow for many years, and now that Louisville has secured him, fans can only point and laugh at the Kentucky football program. Marrow was with Kentucky for 12 seasons and will now join Louisville, sparking the rivalry and the Louisville football program even more.

Dick Vitale disrespects Louisville basketball in his 'Dazzling Dozen'

While Louisville basketball has earned national recognition from nearly every expert, the most beloved expert decided to disrespect Louisville. The Cardinals have been ranked as high as No. 7 in the rankings right now, but Hall of Famer Dick Vitale sees it much differently, apparently.

Vitale revealed his "Dazzling Dozen," and it shocked many as the Cardinals were left out, and UCLA, Arkansas, and Michigan were included in his top 12. Other notable teams are the lone ACC team, the Duke Blue Devils, and the Cards' in-state rival, the Kentucky Wildcats. Vitale is extremely well-regarded and has devoted nearly 50 years to ESPN broadcasting, but leaving out Louisville is highly disrespectful to this program and instantly renders his rankings invalid.

Tyran Stokes Kentucky visit is recipe for disaster

Louisville basketball's offseason is shifting into recruiting mode, as the Cardinals have been trending with multiple 5-star recruits in the 2026 cycle. However, Louisville received a crushing update this past weekend as the Louisville native and consensus No. 1 target in the 2026 cycle, Tyran Stokes, took an official visit to Kentucky.

The Cardinal's chances of landing Stokes continue to drop, as they were once at 66.7 percent; they are now at 35.2 percent. Stokes has visited Kansas, Kentucky, and Louisville and now has visits lined up with Gonzaga, Oregon, and Arkansas.
