Louisville football had a massive recruiting weekend, and the Cardinals are already hearing the news they were hoping to hear. Louisville landed three commitments immediately following the recruiting weekend, as Jeff Brohm and his staff were able to secure commitments from two 4-star players and a 3-star player.
The Cardinals' domination in the state of Kentucky continues as Brohm landed the commitment from Josiah Hope, a 4-star defensive lineman. Louisville has now landed four of the top five recruits out of Kentucky in the 2026 cycle and six of the top 10 recruits. Hope is ranked as the No. 274 recruit in the nation and the second-best player from the state of Kentucky.

Pat Kelsey and Louisville basketball's next move is obvious
Louisville basketball landed a commitment from a 6-foot-8, 250-pound forward, Evangelos Zougris. The Cardinals were in desperate need of a power forward or center, especially after the heartbreaking news of Aly Khalifa being ineligible.
The Cardinals' frontcourt is beginning to take shape, but it is clear after Zougris' commitment that the Cards' next move is as clear as day. Pat Kelsey and Louisville are heavily relying on Khalifa being eligible and his appeal being overturned. Louisville is in dire need of a legit center, and at this point, the 6-foot-11 BYU transfer is all that is really available.
