Louisville basketball traveled to the Bahamas for some extra practices and two exhibition games, but the Cardinals' fans got an update over the weekend. Due to roster availability, Louisville will now only have one exhibition on Tuesday, July 28. Also, the Cardinals' game in the Bahamas will not be televised or available on the radio.
When Kelsey was asked about Louisville’s time in the Bahamas, he was asked whether there would be more jet ski time with Louisville only playing one exhibition game, and Kelsey sent a clear message to the Cardinals fans that this is a business trip.

Louisville's injury update for Bahamas exhibition
The Cardinals also got an update on who won’t be available for their lone exhibition game, as Brooks Holton from the Louisville Courier Journal reported that the Cardinals' 5-star freshman Obinna Ekezie Jr. and 4-star transfer from Arkansas Karter Knox “are not expected to play as they continue to work their way back from injuries.”
Knox is coming off a left meniscus surgery in mid-February, which forced him to miss the remainder of the season. Ekezie Jr. had surgery “several months” ago and is still trying to get fully healthy. With it only July, the Cardinals fans want these two star players to be fully healthy when October rolls around, as Knox is likely going to be a starter and Ekezie will be one of the first players off the bench.

Jimbo Fisher talks Louisville football and ACC Title race
Louisville football is just 41 days away from its first game against Ole Miss, and the Cardinals fans can’t wait. The Cards have been getting a lot of praise and attention over the past couple of weeks, as many are naming this Jeff Brohm squad one of the top teams in the ACC.
The Miami Hurricanes are the clear favorite to win the conference this season, but when reporters and analysts debate who could shock the Hurricanes and claim the ACC Title, many believe it is either Louisville or SMU. Former Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher was the latest to talk about the Cardinals. When he brought up the race for the ACC Title, he sent a major message on Louisville and why he believes the Cardinals could challenge the Miami Hurricanes for the 2026 ACC Title.
