Mikel Brown Jr. not only won his second gold medal, but he did it dominantly. Louisville basketball's incoming freshman was blatantly snubbed of the FIBA U19 World Cup MVP as BYU commit AJ Dybantsa secured the MVP award despite Brown leading Team USA in points, assists, efficiency, and made 3-pointers.
Brown's top games came back-to-back as the 5-star phenom dropped 24 points in consecutive games entering the medal round. In the semifinals, Brown went completely viral for his high-flying dunk attempt against New Zealand as the 6-foot-5 guard soared through the air, showcasing his athleticism.
