Jeff Brohm and Louisville football have been making a strong impression in the recruiting aspect this summer. The Cardinals have landed two 4-star recruits and a massive 3-star tight end in just July.

Louisville is winning over top recruits from elite programs like Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, and many others. The addition of Vince Marrow is in full effect right now, and now Marrow and Brohm shift their focus to another elite cornerback.

The Cardinals are in a recruiting battle right now for 3-star cornerback Devonte Anderson. Louisville is in Anderson's final six and is going up against some big dawgs in Miami and Auburn, but will look to stay red-hot and earn another commitment from one of their top targets.

The 6-foot-1 185 pound defensive back is ranked as high as No. 877 in the nation, and No. 40 ATH recruit, and the 113-best player out of Florida, per On3 Sports. The Cardinals are the dominant favorite to land Anderson as On3 Sports gives Louisville an 89 percent chance, and Rivals gives Louisville a 100 percent chance.

Anderson is clearly Louisville's No. 1 target at the moment after landing 4-star Jayden McGregory on July 7. The Cardinals' secondary commitments are elite at the moment as they have 4-star Jaydin Broadnax, McGregory at safety, 4-star Karsten Busch at linebacker, and hopefully Anderson.

Anderson received over 34 offers from prominent programs, including Florida, Colorado, Wisconsin, and others. He currently attends West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla. The two-way star earned 38 total tackles, 10 pass breakups, and three interceptions on the defensive side. On offense, he earned 26 catches for 447 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 13 games.

Louisville earned a visit back on May 30, and he has made his way around to UCF, Miami, Rutgers, and Auburn since. Marrow and Brohm look to continue this hot streak in the 2026 cycle, and while the experts make it seem like a lock, Louisville fans won't officially find out until his commitment announcement on July 11.
