Louisville basketball's star center Aly Khalifa won his appeal, and he will be officially available for the 2025-26 season. The 6-foot-11 center will look to be one of Pat Kelsey's key players next season and emerge as an elite big man in the ACC.

Khalifa is a center who can do it all and emerges as a perfect fit for Louisville's starting lineup. The center won the Conference USA Rookie of the Year award with Charlotte, and not only can he shoot the deep ball, but he can also make tremendous passes and be an elite playmaker on the court.

Louisville Cardinals eyes 2026 National Title

After the news broke that Khalifa was officially available for next season, the Cardinals faithful are already drooling over their 2026 National Title odds. Louisville currently has the tenth-best odds to win the 2026 National Championship, and they are aware of the importance of Khalifa's presence next season.

Khalifa will fit perfectly next to the Cardinal's elite backcourt and will not only space the floor but also find the open shooters, making him Kelsey's starting center for game one. The 6-foot-11 center was Kelsey's No. 1 target after the news broke that he was ineligible, and now that he is eligible, the Cardinals' rotation and depth chart are trending towards the program's third National Title.

Louisville football lands first 2027 commitment

Louisville football lands their first 2027 commit as Jack Sorgi commits to Jeff Brohm and the Louisville Cardinals after the quarterback camp a few weeks ago. Sorgi is one of Brohm's secret gems, as the sophomore quarterback earned some varsity reps during his freshman season but really shone last season, throwing for 1,729 passing yards and 19 touchdowns on a 59 percent completion percentage.
