The Indiana native committed to the Cardinals just a few weeks after his visit as Sorgi visited Jeff Brohm and the Louisville Cardinals back on June 5. The future Cardinal is the son of former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jim Sorgi and will now be part of a quarterback room with 4-star commit Briggs Cherry from the 2026 class.

Sorgi currently attends Tri-West High School, where he threw for 1,729 passing yards and 19 touchdowns on a 59 percent completion percentage. The Cardinals have gone the transfer portal route for the last three years, but Brohm is all-in on some high school recruits, as Cherry and Sorgi have a chance to be a solid duo for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals were able to earn Sorgi's verbal commitment before he even received any other offers. The future Cardinal is expected to attend many more quarterback camps this summer, including Indiana's.
