Louisville fans are ready to break the internet after huge upset win over No. 2 Miami

In a Friday night showdown, Louisville and No. 2 Miami put on a show to start off a great weekend of college football. Miami was coming in as one of the few undefeated teams in the country, coming off a bye week after its biggest win of the season over FSU.

However, it seems like the week off still wasn't enough as the Cardinals were ready for everything the Hurricanes had to throw at them. Louisville was able to hold onto a thin lead throughout the game and seal it with an interception, the defense's fourth of the night. The Cardinals were able to upset the Hurricanes 24-21 to jump ahead of Miami in the ACC rankings.

Louisville completely exposed who Georgia always knew Carson Beck was by intercepting him four times, the last one being the biggest. Even though Miami made it close in the final eight minutes with a fumble and scoring a touchdown quickly, the Cardinals were able to take time off the clock and then trust the defense to get it done.

The Cardinal defense had the bend but don't break mindset late, and even though Miami was driving, when it mattered most, they got it done. Fans are ecstatic over the big upset win under Jeff Brohm and are showing it all over social media.

This is exactly why Louisville brought Brohm back to the program. Brohm now has a 4-2 record in games against a Top 5 team in the country. He has a record of winning, and it is showing with the Cardinals now.

Louisville was always able to win at home, but to win on the road against a top team is something every program needs to be able to do, and now the Cardinals have proved they can do it.
