Louisville football is on a crushing three-game losing streak in November that has sent this Cardinals team from the College Football Playoff conversation to the middle of the ACC. Louisville started the season 7-1 and was ranked No. 15 in the nation after the first CFP rankings, but the Cards' star running back Isaac Brown was ruled out for "a while" by Jeff Brohm, and ever since, Louisville has been winless.

Brown went down late in the fourth quarter against Virginia Tech, and since then, he has been sidelined for Louisville. The Cards' fans have quickly realized how important Brown is, as the offense has just not been the same without him. With the Governors Cup quickly approaching, Brown's mother is sparking buzz among fans that her son might be available against Kentucky.

Sabrina Jefferson has shown nothing but support for her son's Cardinals this season, and while he has missed the last three games, Louisville fans were given a glimpse of hope that he might play this weekend. In her most recent Facebook post, fans immediately raised an eyebrow and are hoping it means that Brown could be trending in the right direction and is getting healthier.

"I Had A Dream That My Son And Moss Playing In The Game Against Kentucky. I Hope My Dream Comes True" Jeffersont stated on Facebook.

The preseason All-American really began to catch fire, averaging 8.6 yards per carry, and logged 782 rushing yards on 91 carries. Right before his injury, Brown averaged 149.3 rushing yards in his last three games and was averaging 10 yards per carry. He logged a total of 448 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, including his dominant 205 rushing yards against Boston College.

Of course, Louisville fans need to hear the official update from Brohm and where Brown actually is, but it is hard to imagine Brown's mother doesn't know her son's health. If Brown were already ruled out for the game and had no chance of playing, it wouldn't make much sense for her to get Louisville fans excited about her star running back playing this weekend.

The Cardinals are 3.5-point favorites over Kentucky right now, but if Brown is available, Louisville would feel much more confident in this in-state rivalry showdown. Last year, Brown led Louisville to snap the Cards' five-game losing streak to Kentucky, rushing 26 times for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-17 win over the Cats.

Cardinals fans are hoping Jefferson's comments are a sign that her son is trending in the right direction, but they will likely get the official injury update on Brown tomorrow afternoon at Brohm's weekly press conference.
