Louisville football has their biggest game of the 2025 season in four days, and the Cards fans understand this is going to make or break their ACC Title dreams. Louisville had a devastating loss at home two weekends ago when the Cardinals fell short to Virginia in an Overtime loss.
Now, with that massive setback, Louisville faces the challenge of traveling to Miami and facing the No. 2 team in the nation. The Cardinals' loss to Virginia was one the team had to win to stay on track to make the ACC Championship game, but now, after they lost to the Cavaliers, it is clear to the fans that this Friday night against Miami, Louisville must win to keep their ACC Title odds in a reachable range.

Louisville's ACC odds reveals the glaring truth for their Miami showdown
The Cardinals, as of Monday, have +3000 odds to win the ACC Championship after losing to Virginia and their bye week, according to FanDuel. Florida State is out of the picture after they started 0-3 in the conference, but Clemson and SMU are back in the picture and making a midseason run after their slow start.
The Seminoles' loss to Pitt helped Louisville stay in the race, but if the Cardinals want to make it to Charlotte, it is crystal clear that they need some help. Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Duke currently sit at the top, but they have a much easier schedule than Louisville. The Blue Devils will host Georgia Tech this weekend and then face Virginia on Nov. 15. For both Georgia Tech and Virginia, the matchup against Duke is their only challenging game.
With Louisville having to play Miami, Clemson, and SMU, the Cardinals are in a must-win situation this Friday. Miami looks like they should be a lock for the championship game, which means only one more team can make that second spot. And as of now, it looks like Georgia Tech or Virginia, but Duke has the schedule to jump into that No. 2 spot.
Four teams are battling it out for the top two spots, and SMU, Clemson, and Louisville are in that second tier. The Cardinals' +3000 odds are a harsh reality check for Louisville to show they must win this game on the road against Miami if they want to emerge back in the race, but if they are to lose to Miami, then it appears that, with Virginia and Georgia Tech's schedule, it will be nearly impossible for the Cardinals to move up in the standings.
Miami currently has the best odds to win the ACC with -175 odds, followed by Georgia Tech with +550 odds and Virginia with +850 odds. Then it is Duke with +900 odds and SMU with +1500 odds. Louisville comes in next with their +3000 odds, making it clear the Cardinals have to win this game with Miami to make some noise in the ACC race.
