After the Louisville football team shocked the Miami Hurricanes last night, the college football world can't stop talking about Jeff Brohm and this Cardinals squad. The Cardinals improve to 5-1 on the season, and all of a sudden, it feels like this Louisville squad is on top of the world.

Brohm is becoming an elite coach right in front of Louisville's eyes, and the whole world is beginning to take notice after their massive win last night. The Cardinals were double-digit underdogs, and not one expert picked Louisville to win. However, with their backs against the wall, Brohm does what he does best and pulls off a season-saving win, taking down the Miami Hurricanes.

This morning on College GameDay, the analyst talked about the game, and Pat McAfee shone a bright light on Louisville and Brohm and said the quiet part out loud about this team and the program's future.

Pat McAfee just gave Jeff Brohm and Louisville football the respect they deserve

The Cardinals are right back in the ACC mix and are now just one game back from the top spots. Entering this game, it was clear that Louisville had to win this game to keep their ACC Title and College Football Playoff chances alive. And while not many believed it would happen, Brohm rallied his team and led the entire game, and took down the No. 2 team in the nation.

Now, the Louisville Cardinals have a legitimate chance of making the ACC Title. On College GameDay, during their recap, McAfee gave a brief quote that summed up this win perfectly, and the Louisville football fans are screaming with excitement as someone is finally giving the Cardinals the light they deserve.

"Louisville is back in the convo, and anytime Coach Brohm is coaching football, let's assume they have a chance," McAfee stated on College Gameday.

The Cards technically don't control their own destiny, as Virginia and Georgia Tech are undefeated in ACC play and don't play each other, and the Cards lost to UVA two weeks ago. However, the Yellow Jackets play Duke today, and Virginia plays Duke later in the year.

The Cardinals' schedule is definitely more challenging than these other teams in the mix, as they have to play Clemson and SMU. However, McAfee is 100 percent right that this team is right back in the conversation, and with Brohm leading the group, they have a chance to beat anyone. ESPN Analytics favors Louisville in every game except their road game against SMU on November 22, and the Mustangs have already shown they are beatable, having lost to Baylor at home and TCU on the road.

The Cardinals have a path to a 10-win season, but to reach the ACC Championship, they will most likely have to win 11 games, given the ease of Georgia Tech, Duke, and Virginia's schedules. There are still many games to play, but it is safe to say that Cardinals fans, Pat McAfee, and the college football world are bought in on Brohm and his Cardinals.
