Louisville football just landed one of its biggest commitments in the 2026 cycle as 4-star phenom DJ Williams announced his commitment to the University of Louisville this afternoon.
This 4-star wideout is one of the top wide receivers on Brohm's radar, as Williams earned over 32 offers from elite programs like Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Miami, Penn State, Florida State, SMU, and a lot more. Williams is ranked as high as No. 572 in the nation and the 51st-best athlete out of Florida.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound commit is a two-way star, playing both wide receiver and defensive back. The Cardinals recently earned a visit from Williams back on May 30, and just three weeks later, he verbally committed to Brohm and the Cardinals.

Brohm and his staff have not logged 20 commitments in the 2026 cycle, and Williams is now the fifth 4-star commit. Louisville will now look to try and land another massive 4-star recruit as top 4oo prospect Jayden McGregory is on an official visit this afternoon.
McGregory is ranked as high as No. 396 in the 2026 cycle and is the second-best player from Iowa. The Cardinals have narrowed their list to the final four schools and are in a recruiting battle with Kansas, Minnesota, and Missouri.
