The Louisville Cardinals are hosting a massive recruiting weekend this weekend, as Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals are expected to welcome at least nine recruits. These elite prospects are set to arrive on campus and begin their visit on Friday, May 30, in the afternoon, and the visit will last until June 1.
The Cardinals will have high expectations after this weekend as Louisville has emerged as one of the best recruiting teams in the ACC and the nation. The Cardinals have earned 14 commitments from the 2026 class, with their 14 commitments being ranked as high as the 16th-best recruiting class in the country.
Louisville will hopefully earn more commitments after this crucial weekend, as it will host a 4-star, top in-state recruit, multiple 3-stars, and more.
Louisville football rolls out red carpet for elite 4-star WR and eight key recruits
The Cardinals' top recruit coming to visit this weekend is 4-star wide receiver Kaydon Finley. The Texas native is ranked as high as the No. 111 overall recruit, the No. 15 wide receiver, and the 16th-best player out of Texas. Finley is heavily recruited by Notre Dame, Texas, and Texas A&M and will receive visits from them before his commitment on July 4. The Fighting Irish emerge as the strong favorites, with a 69.0 percent chance of landing him.
The next name to remember is Josiah Hope. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive lineman is a 3-star recruit and ranked as high as No. 4 in the state. Louisville has already earned commitments from three of the top five recruits in the state, and Hope is the only top player available. The Kentucky native will return to Louisville after multiple unofficial visits this spring. Louisville is the favorite to land Hope, with a 42.7 percent chance, according to On3 Sports. Purdue is second with 37.4 percent. Purdue has a visit with Hope on June 6, and Kentucky has a visit on June 13.
Louisville will also host five 3-star recruits this weekend, including highly recruited defensive lineman Jamarcus Whyce. The 6-foot-2, 265-pound lineman is ranked as high as No. 451 in the nation and No. 50 in his skilled position. He is ranked as the 22nd-best prospect in Ohio and has earned over 27 offers. The Cardinals are early favorites as they have the best chance to land him after he cut his list down to just 12 schools, according to On3 Sports. Other notable teams in his final 12 include Tennessee, North Carolina State, Auburn, Kentucky, and others.

Also visiting Louisville this weekend includes DJ Williams and Devonte Anderson. Williams is a 3-star athlete who ranks as high as the No. 565 recruit in the nation and the No. 81 prospect out of Florida. The Cardinals are recruiting him as a wide receiver after he earned 39 receptions for 873 yards and five touchdowns. The Cardinals are in a recruiting battle with Ole Miss, Rutgers, and Missouri, as all three programs have visits with Williams after the Cardinals.
As for Anderson, he is ranked as the No. 792 recruit in the nation. The 3-star cornerback is a Florida native and ran No. 106 out of his home state. Louisville recently made his final eight schools as the Cardinals are in a recruiting battle for Anderson against Miami, Auburn, Missouri, Michigan State, and others.

The two other 3-star visitors this weekend include offensive linemen Pete Eglitis and tight end Nick Lautar. Eglitis is ranked as the No. 97 offensive lineman and cracks the top 1300 in the 247Sports rankings. As for Lautar, he has earned over 21 offers and is ranked as the 60th-best tight end in the 2026 cycle.
