Jeff Brohm and his Louisville football staff secured their fourth commitment in the last week.
The Cardinals landed Marlon Harbin out of St. Xavier High School in Louisville, Ky. The wide receiver verbally committed to the Cardinals via X. He had other offers from Kentucky, Miami of Ohio, Toledo, and others. He also received interest from big-time SEC and Big 10 schools such as Alabama, Missouri, and Indiana
The future Cardinal is ranked as the No. 1 prospect from Kentucky and the No. 78 wide receiver in the class of 2026, per Rivals. The Cardinals made their offer in June of last year and was one of the most loyal programs to Harbin throughout his recruiting process.
Louisville football lands No. 1 recruit from Kentucky
Harbin is an athletic offensive threat, as he caught 47 passes for 639 yards and six touchdowns but was also seen as a running back for St. Xavier. He was also given the ball 123 times on the ground for 704 rushing yards and found the end zone 12 times.
Jeff Brohm and Louisville football secured a verbal commitment from the No. 1 recruit from Kentucky. This is a great sign for the Cardinals' future, as Louisville is starting to bring in a great recruiting class for 2026.
The Cardinals are currently ranked No. 29 in the nation and No. 4 in the ACC for their 10 commitments in the class of 2026, per On3. Louisville football secured two top-five recruits from Kentucky, as Jeff Brohm recently landed linebacker Karsten Busch.
The Cardinals also landed Jaydin Broadnax and Joel Ervin this past week. Louisville football now awaits running back Kaydin Jones. The Cardinals seem to be all-in on this 4-star running back prospect from Oklahoma.
