Louisville football found out on X earlier this week that Javian Mallory is trending in the direction of ACC rival.
Mallory is a unanimous 4-star prospect out of Boca Raton, Fla., and is one of the top running backs in the class of 2026. It was reported by On3 Recruits that this stud of a football prospect is expected to commit to the University of Miami later this year.
Mallory went on X and reposted the On3 tweet, which makes fans think it has to be a good prediction, other than why else would he retweet the post. On3 now gives Miami an inane 95.2% chance to land Louisville running back prospect.

Louisville football losing ground on crucial 4-star RB to Miami
On3 has Mallory ranked as the No. 257 player in the class of 2026 and the No. 21 running back in the nation. Rivals has him ranked the highest at No. 201, and cracks No. 10 in his skilled position, where ESPN and 247Sports have him in the back half of top 300 in the nation.
Louisville football received good news a few weeks back that they will get an official visit from this highly-recruited running back on June 6, 2025. Cardinals have been one of the more loyal schools to Mallory as they were just the third school to make an offer, and it was way back over two years ago on Jan. 23, 2023.
The 6-foot, 200-pound running back now has nearly 50 offers, and unfortunately, it seems he will pick the Cardinals' rival down south.
On the bright side, On3 gives the Cardinals a great 86.7% chance to land Mallory's unanimous 4-star teammate, Jaydin Broadnax. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound safety currently is ranked as high as 199 nationally, No. 20 in his position, and 32 in the state of Florida.
Cardinals are currently ranked 41st in the nation for their six commitments in the class of 2026. Stay updated with all Louisville football recruiting news and updates.
