Louisville football QB Tyler Shough proves he is top 3 QB at 2025 NFL Combine

Tyler Shough continues to show why he is a top-three quarterback in the class of 2025 for the NFL Draft.

Shough showed off his lightning-fast wheels, as he ran an exceptional 4.64 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine Saturday afternoon, and then fired up the crowd at the NFL Combine in the Lucas Oil Stadium. Shough's time is the second-best 40-yard time out of quarterbacks to run, as he is only behind Brady Cook out of Missouri.

Shough's continues to prove himself and why he is a top-rated quarterback in this NFL Draft and why he should be picked in the first couple days. Shough received some Phillip Rivers comparison with his raw-emotion he displayed when he posted his 4.64 40-yard run.

The 6-foot-4, 224-pound quarterback is projected to be as high as a second-round quarterback, and after today he might have solidified his spot over quarterbacks like Jalen Milroe, and Jaxson Dart. Shough seems to haven taken advantage of the fact that quarterbacks like Milroe, and Dart didn't run the 40-yard dash, but also Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward who didn't participate in the NFL Combine at all.

The former Louisville quarterback is only the 13th quarterback in franchise history to throw for 3,000 yards or more in a season as he finished with 3,195 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, on 62.7% passing completion-percentage, and just six interceptions.

In his full-career he threw for 7,820 passing yards, 59 passing touchdowns, on 63% passing completion-percentage.

The name of the draft seems to be Tyler Shough, and all the analysts are falling in love with him and now the fans too. Shough was claimed to have the second best tape, over Shedeur Sanders, according to NFL Draft analyst, Greg Cosell.

The NFL Draft is set to take place April 24-26 from Green Bay.
