Tyler Shough is getting all the attention and praise as the NFL Combine is set to kickoff tomorrow.

Shough's name flew under the radar until he put all NFL Draft scouts and analysis on notice at the Reese's Senior Bowl with his stellar performance. Louisville's quarterback will 100% throw at the NFL Combine to continue to raise his draft stock, and will look to be drafted on the second day of the NFL Draft.

Shough had a stellar season with Louisville football last season as he threw for 3,196 yards, 23 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He is now the 13th quarterback in UofL history to throw 3,000 yards or more in a season.

With the NFL Combine starting today, and the NFL draft a little under two months away, NFL analysts continue to praise Tyler Shough. Recently joining the party was Greg Cosell, an NFL Insider for ESPN. Cosell went on the Ross Tucker Podcast and was asked which quarterbacks have the best film and when it was time for the No. 2 quarterback with the best film it was shockingly Tyler Shough.

Louisville's football, Tyler Shough, picked over Shedeur Sanders

The unanimous top-two quarterbacks for the NFL draft is Cam Ward out of Miami, and Shedeur Sanders from Colorado. According to Cosell though, when looking strictly off tape, he is picking Tyler Shough over Shedeur Sanders.

"I would say to me the next best tape of a college quarterback that I saw was Tyler Shough from Louisville." Greg Cosell stated.

This jaw-dropping comment not only puts Shough film from his college career as the second best tape behind only Cam Ward, but it also means Cosell likes Louisville football former quarterbacks tape more than the likely top-five draft pick, Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders had a completion percentage at 74%, which led the league, he threw for 4,134 yards, which was fourth most passing yards, and threw for 37 touchdowns, which was second in the league. But in Cosell eyes, Shough's tape stood out and the potential from Tyler Shough is through the roof.

"I was fascinated by this kid. I don't know when he is going to get drafted, it would not surprise me at all Ross if you start hearing his name, and start hear people saying, 'oh he is going to start moving up." Cosell stated on Tyler Shough.

On NFL on ESPN, Matt Miller recently reported Shough is the "hottest name" right now and he would not be surprised is Shough is taken in the second round of the NFL Draft.

"He is 25-years old. I have spoken to former GM's who have said that is not an issue at all, if the guy plays 10 years, 12 years, so what, he'll be 36." Cosell stated. He is 6'5, 224, this kid, I loved his tape. He looked the part of an NFL quarterback."

Cosell would go on to give all the praise to Shough, and how he loves his mechanics, and his ability to extend the drive if he has to, and is a "higher-level prospect." Cosell ended his statement repeating himself once more on how much he likes him, and that he really enjoyed Shough's tape.

At 6'5" and 224 pounds, Shough checks all the physical boxes, and Cosell is particularly excited about his potential and is cementing Shough as one of the draft's most intriguing prospects.

As the NFL Combine gets underway, Tyler Shough is certainly a name to watch closely.
