Vince Marrow and Louisville football just ripped the former Kentucky Wildcats' 4-star commitment out of their pocket, as elite offensive tackle Jarvis Strickland officially committed to the Cardinals Friday evening.

Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals' 2026 hot streak continues after the massive news broke from Rivals. Strickland lands as an in-state 4-star recruit and is a big-time grab for the Cardinals, as not only does he rank No. 1 in Kentucky, but Brohm has now landed four of the top five recruits in 2026 from the state.

Strickland is ranked as the No. 16 offensive lineman in the 2026 cycle and is ranked No. 206 in the nation. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound lineman decommitted from the Wildcats just ten days after Louisville stole Marrow from Kentucky, and now, a little over two weeks later, the Cardinals just stole Mark Stoops' best commitments.

The future Cardinal had over 27 offers from top programs, including Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, North Carolina, and many others. It was reported just a couple of days ago that the Cardinals were the favorite to land Strickland, as a Rivals expert made his prediction, and it appears he was correct, as Louisville has just secured a massive commitment.

The Cardinals' 2026 class now holds 19 commitments and is ranked as high as No. 35 in the nation, per 247Sports. Louisville now has 5 4-star commitments again and will turn its attention to Monday when 4-star Jayden McGregory makes his announcement on where he will commit.

The addition of Marrow is in full effect with this big-time flip, as Strickland not only proves Louisville is about to dominate the state of Kentucky, but the dynamic duo of Brohm and Marrow should be an easy pitch for future stars.
