Louisville basketball learned some excellent news Monday afternoon as the Cardinals found out that a top 50 recruit will make an official visit to Louisville. Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals are becoming a top spot for superstar recruits, and earning a visit from 4-star Anthony Felesi proves that.
Rivals/On3 Sports Joe Tipton was the first to report this crucial update, as he noted the Cardinals are one of five schools to earn an official visit. The other programs earning a visit from Felesi include Pitt, San Diego State, USC, and UCLA.
The recruiting race is heating up for Felesi as the Cardinals' official visit is set for Oct. 25. Louisville's earning this visit skyrocketed their chances of landing his commitment, as On3 Sports now gives Louisville the fourth-best percentage to earn his commitment.

Louisville basketball lands official visit from 4-star Anthony Felesi
The 4-star wing comes in ranked as high as No. 46 in the nation, per 247Sports, and ranked as high as the No. 11 small forward in the recruiting class. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound visiting Louisville on Oct. 25 has a glorious silver lining that the Cardinals' preseason showdown with Kansas on Oct. 24 is poised to be a massive recruiting pitch.
Louisville is set to play Kansas on Oct. 24 from KFC Yum! Center and the Cardinals are hoping to use this game as a final pitch to elite recruits before they commit in the fall. Felesi is the first recruit to schedule his visit around this blockbuster showdown, but Louisville is confident that it will have this weekend loaded with high school superstars visiting.
The Cardinals' 13.6 percent chance of earning his commitment, given by On3 Sports, is the third-best percentage, as UCLA's 21.6 percent, USC's 19.0 percent, and San Diego State's 16.7 percent are ranked ahead.
Louisville has yet to earn a commitment in the 2026 recruiting class, but the Cardinals continue to trend in the right direction for multiple recruits. The Cardinals have now made multiple 5-star updated lists, including Ikenna Alozie, Deron Rippey Jr., Jaxon Richardson, Taylen Kinney, Arafan Diane, and more.
