Brown has emerged as one of the top running backs in the country behind Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love and Penn State's Nick Singleton. These appear to be the consensus top three running backs entering the 2025 season, and what makes Brown stand out is that he will be a true sophomore.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound running back is coming off a historic freshman campaign for the Cardinals, where he broke Lamar Jackson's freshman rushing yards record and tied Jackson's record for games with 100 rushing yards or more.

Brown logged 1,168 yards last season on 7.2 yards per carry, which was the most by any Power-Four running back. After winning ACC Rookie of the Year and earning a spot on the All-ACC Second Team, it is evident that the Cardinals' star running back is poised for an even bigger season in 2025.

The star joins elite company on the Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List as he will be one of 38 offensive players, one of 11 running backs, and the lone Cardinal representing Louisville. Thirty-seven teams are represented on this prestigious list, and the Cardinals fans truly believe Brown has a chance to emerge as the nation's top tailback this upcoming season.
