Louisville basketball offseason highlight videos are being released, and the fans are losing their minds. The Cardinals recently released two minutes of raw clips from Louisville basketball practice this summer, and a few things are jumping out at them.

5-star point guard Mikel Brown Jr. appears to be transitioning into the program quite smoothly, as the elite point guard is displaying raw talent by pulling up from beyond the arc, catching and shooting in transition, and distributing the ball at an elite level. Another player that quickly catches fans' eyes is the 4-star transfer from Virginia, Isaac McKneely.

The former Cavalier appears to have made the transition exceptionally well, as he is highlighted in the clip as an elite sharpshooter, especially during the transition.

Isaac McKneely is proving he is a beast in transition

McKneely is known as one of the best sharpshooters in college basketball, and fans have been on the edge of their seats whenever a clip of his is released. Last season, Reyne Smith was the best shooter Louisville had in quite some time, and he flourished under Pat Kelsey.

Now, the Cardinals will have an even better shooter to play under Kelsey. In the Cardinals' recent social media post, McKneenly is going to fit perfectly with this offense and be a nightmare for opposing teams.

Last season, Smith splashed 107 3-pointers and etched his name into the program's history books, as he now holds the second-most 3-pointers in a single season in program history. With what McKneely is showing this offseason, it seems likely he has a chance to be up there with Smith in those history books, and he has the resume to back it up.

McKneely connected on 233 3-pointers in his three seasons with the Cavaliers, including 101, which came last season. He ranks in the top five in program history for the most 3-pointers made, and the vast majority went in the previous two seasons when he made 182 of them.

In the social media clip, it is becoming evident that the Cardinals' newest sharpshooter is going to flourish under Kelsey's system. The Cards' head coach loves to play fast and in transition, and the video shows him splashing multiple 3-pointers in transition.

McKneely is first seen trailing on the fast break, stops on a dime, catches, and shoots, drilling the shot. This is something Louisville fans are drooling over. The Cardinals desperately need a player who can run the fast break with Brown, and once the point guard draws all the attention, he can kick it to McKneely and trust that it will go in.

The next transition 3-pointer from McKneely comes off a defensive steal from Kobe Rodgers, and then McKneely sprints to the corner, receives a shuffle pass from Rodgers, and buries the corner 3-pointer. The sharpshooter possesses elite catch-and-shoot abilities, and it's in transition where fans are most excited.

The thought of watching Brown and McKneely running on a fast break or a three-on-two situation, and Brown drives to the basket while McKneely runs to the wing or corner, is precisely what Louisville needed.

He is proving that he made the right choice by choosing Louisville over Tennessee, even if he is coming off the bench. Kelsey's fast-paced offense is exactly what McKneely needs, and while it was just simply two clips, that is all Louisville fans needed to see.
