Louisville football's offense is expected to be one of the most explosive groups, not just in the ACC but in the whole nation. The Cardinals are going to lean heavily on their elite running back duo, Isaac Brown and Duke Watson, but a position group that is getting severely overlooked by national media is their wide receivers.

Everyone knows about the two stars returning in Chris Bell and Caullin Lacy. Bell has shown drastic improvements every year in college football. While Lacy is coming off a devastating injury from last season, he showed flashes last year and in the Spring Game that he can have the same production for the Cardinals that he had in South Alabama in 2023.

However, after those two stars, the nation doesn't mention many more names. And one player in particular is already turning heads in fall camp and is developing a crucial relationship with Miller Moss, and that is San Jose State transfer TreyShun Hurry.

TreyShun Hurry proves he can be an elite WR

The 6-foot-2, 194-pound receiver has tremendous ball tracking ability as he can go up and secure 50/50 catches while also putting on the burners and blowing past the defensive back.

In the Cardinals' first media practice, Hurry displayed this at full effect as he was seen blowing past his defender and then bobbling the ball as he was still running towards the endzone. He showcased his ability to track the ball and make unbelievable catches.

Hurry has the chance to be a massive pick-up for Jeff Brohm and might be their hidden gem this offseason. At San Jose State last season, he secured  28 catches for 482 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The transfer wide receiver played with unanimous All-American Nick Nash and the All-Mountain West Second Team wide receiver Justin Lockhart. This makes Hurry the perfect addition, as playing with Bell and Lacy should come easily to him. Hurry will most likely see more touches with the Cardinals than he did with the Spartans, but it is crucial that he already knows what WR3 feels like.

Last season, he earned 50 receiving yards or more in five games, including securing two 66 receiving yard performances and one 71-yard performance. Coincidentally, his best performance came against Stanford when he earned 71 receiving yards and a touchdown, proving he can play and transition into an elite ACC receiver.

The Cardinals' first game is officially under a month, and Hurry is rising to become Brohm's secret weapon on the offensive side. If Bell and Lacy can't get open, Hurry is already proving that Moss can trust him and can become an elite receiver.
