Louisville football’s 2027 recruiting class is one of the biggest surprises so far in the early stages of the 2027 recruiting cycle. Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow have already landed 11 commitments, and it just got even stronger.

The Cardinals 2027 recruiting class has been in 247 Sports top 10 for a good period of time, and while On3 Spots/Rivals isn’t as high on the Cards recruiting class, ranking No. 18, Rivals just updated their recruiting rankings, and one of the Cardinals commitments just got a big praise, soaring up the rankings.

D'Angelo White has been ranked a 4-star by the 247Sports Composite, and now he is also a 4-star by Rivals, as he was one of the biggest risers in the updated 2027 Rivals300 rankings.

Rivals is one of the main recruiting rankings for college football, and while Louisville fans have been high on White, he was unranked before the recent update. However, that changed as the tight end went from unranked to ranked No. 195 nationally.

White committed to Louisville back in January. Rivals putting White in their top 300 was long overdue, as 247Sports ranks him No. 213 in the nation, On3 Sports ranks him No. 212, and the 4-star tight end is ranked as high as the No. 3 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 179 overall in ESPN rankings.

The 4-star receiver committed to Louisville over some big-time programs, as White received offers from 23 programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. The 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end is a physical receiver with impressive footwork in the blocking game.

Louisville football will now look to stay hot throughout the 2027 recruiting class, as the Cardinals are trending to make history. Louisville has never had a team recruiting class finish in the top 20, and right now Brohm and Marrow have the class ranked as high as No. 7 in the nation.
