The University of Louisville is known to have some of the best traditions, fans, and gameday environments throughout all of its college sports. Louisville football has some of the most passionate fans in the nation, and the Cardinals' nation made an immediate impact for the 2025 season for the Louisville football program.

While the Cardinals' nation has a standard for their fans and energy, and may even be accustomed to it at this point, quarterback Miller Moss expressed that it is something he isn't used to, but he is all for it. The USC transfer didn't just praise the Cardinals fans when he was asked about L&N Stadium, but actually threw a subtle jab at the Trojans fans in his answer.

Miller Moss throws USC Trojans fans under the bus

Moss committed to the Trojans and enrolled at USC back in 2021. The 4-star quarterback spent four years at USC but didn't get much action until the 2024 season. Throughout the years, the Trojans have had some up and down seasons, but when it comes to the USC fans, Moss made it clear there is a clear difference between Louisville and the Trojans.

"I played my earlier parts of college football in a place that has a lot of different attractions around the city, and so it is not a place that is necessarily focused on the college team in that area," Moss stated on USC fans. "So, I think being in a situation where that is the case is really, really cool. To see the support from the city and how they get up to support the team has been awesome."

Moss gave the Cardinals traditions and fans extreme high praise, while he threw the Trojans fans under the bus. USC is located in Los Angeles, California. Moss's subtle jab at fans who aren't all in on their college teams is a stinger, but also accurate.

Cardinals fans are most definitely more passionate and loyal than the Trojans fans, but to hear Moss say it, Louisville fans are smiling, while USC Trojans fans are angry.

It is challenging for any LA team to have loyal fans, whether it is a college or professional team. But for Louisville fans to hear their star quarterback can feel a drastic difference proves the Cardinals fans have an impact on the game. Louisville fans have to keep the energy and passion up and be a key part of Louisville's quest for the program's first-ever ACC Title.
