Center: Flory Bidunga

The Kansas transfer was one of the best centers in college basketball last season, and he is expected to be one of the top centers next year as well. Flory Bidunga is exactly what the Cards fans have been begging for, as he is an offensive threat who can back his defender down, but is also one of the best rim protectors in the nation.

Flory Bidunga Update: Louisville facing 3 major threats to land 5-star transfer

Last season, Bidunga logged 13 double-doubles and averaged the fifth most blocks per game and earned the fourth most total blocks in Division I basketball. The 5-star transfer averaged a dominant 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game while shooting 64 percent from the field.

Now, Louisville will host the consensus 5-star for a visit today with Jackson Shelstad as the Cards hope to earn both commitments by the end of the day. It won’t be easy, as Duke, St. John’s, and Michigan are in the recruiting mix as well, but Louisville earning its first visit could be a huge advantage for Kelsey. Bidunga ranks No. 1 among centers and No. 1 overall in the portal.
