The Cardinals have officially landed a Crystal Ball Prediction from 247Sports for Shelstad. Louisville is in a recruiting battle with Arizona for the 4-star transfer, but it appears the Cardinals are becoming the favorite heading into the crucial visit tomorrow.
Shelstad is a former 5-star recruit who made the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and the All-Big 10 Third-Team in his first two seasons. Last year, he was trending toward being one of the top guards in the Big 10, but played in just 12 games and averaged 15.6 points, 4.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. He ranks as high as No. 16 overall and No. 5 among point guards.
