The Louisville football team is traveling to the Pitt Panthers this Saturday for a crucial Week 5 matchup. The Cardinals sit at 3-0, while the Panthers sit at 2-1, making this matchup crucial for both ACC Title chances.

The Cardinals entered the season with the third-best odds to win the ACC Championship, but with Clemson's decline and Florida State's and Georgia Tech's rise, the Cards now sit with the fourth-best odds. Louisville has never won the ACC Championship game, and if they want to make it to Charlotte, this showdown with Pitt is massive.

Louisville understands their schedule gets tougher down the stretch, and with this matchup on the road, the Cardinals fans are biting their nails just hoping they can leave with a win. Well, FanDuel is giving the fans a bit of relief and telling them it will be ok as the Vegas oddsmakers are moving the line slightly in favor of the Cardinals.

Odds slightly shift in favor of Louisville

The Cardinals' injury report was a brutal one, but with Pitt's star running back Desmond Reid still questionable, FanDuel shifted the spread in favor of the Cardinals. The opening line was -3.5 in favor of Louisville, and after the injury report, it stood at 6 a.m. on Friday, September 26. The new line as of 6 a.m. on Friday, September 26, is -4.5.

Louisville fans learned Thursday evening that the Cardinals' running back room is going to be thin, as their top four running backs are either questionable or out as of this morning. They also learned that Rodney Johnson Jr. is out, and Wesley Bailey and Antonio Watts are questionable.
