One of the most anticipated prospects left, Nate Ament, recently put out his top five schools remaining in his recruiting process, and Louisville basketball fans are right where they thought they were going to be.

Ament is a unanimous 5-star prospect out of Warrenton, Va., and currently attends Highland School, and is a unanimous top five recruit in the class of 2025, and the consensus No. 1 overall player out of the state of Virginia.

Ament went on and announced his final five schools on a podcast, and the final five include the following: Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, and Tennessee.

Louisville basketball is all in for Nate Ament

Nate Ament stands tall at 6-foot-9, and 185 pounds and is one of the most athletic and versatile players in the class of 2025. In his junior season at Highland School he had an impressive stat line as he averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.0 blocks, and 3.7 assists per game.

Ament would talk about every school briefly and in his portion on the Cardinals, and had much love for Kelsey, the fans, and even fellow 5-star commit, Mikel Brown Jr.

"They have also been very consistent, and I love Coach Kelsey's enthusiasm, and Coach Carr. They have great relationship with not just me but my whole family, and obviously going back to Fanstake, their fans are in with them as well. Seeing a program trying to revive the program and trying to do it with me and Mikel is great to see." Ament stated.

Joe Tipton, of On3, recently reported that if he had to lean one way he would think Ament would commit to Louisville, but Duke and Kentucky are right behind the Cardinals.

"I know Louisville is towards the top of his list." Tipton wrote. " I even wrote recently on ON3.com that if I had to pick a school that Nate Ament picks I would probably lean towards Louisville."

Louisville basketball offered Ament an official offer back on Apr. 23, and he would go on for an official visit on Oct. 11. Ament
