The Louisville football team is returning from their bye week with a lot of momentum. They looked great in each of their first two contests against Austin Peay and Jacksonville State. Quite frankly, the early bye week was more of an inconvenience than anything for them because they looked so good.

Now the Cardinals take on their first ACC opponent of the year. Georgia Tech comes to town to try and knock them from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Yellow Jackets have already played in four games this year, so they should be ready for this game.

Louisville is ranked 19th in the country. With another win, they could continue their climb up the polls. Vegas certainly seems to think they'll get another win, but it won't be as easy as either of their first two games. According to DraftKings, the Cardinals are 10-point favorites. The over/under sits at 56.5 too.

Giving a final prediction for Louisville vs. Georgia Tech

The Cardinals are clearly more talented than the Yellow Jackets are. They are a really solid team on both offense and defense. Offensively, they weren't expected to be able to run the ball this well. Still, they are one of the best teams in the conference at running the rock so far.

I do think that Louisville wants to make a statement to the rest of the country. Not a lot of attention has been on the Cardinals as a true threat to win the ACC. After this game, I think more eyes will be on them as they head into next week's primetime matchup with Notre Dame.

This should be a relatively high-scoring affair. While Louisville's defense has been really good so far, this is definitely the best offense they've faced so far. I don't think they'll be able to keep the Yellow Jackets off the scoreboard or anything like that.

I fully expect the Cardinals to get another win and look good doing so.
