The Louisville football team has looked great in their first two games of the season. Quite frankly, it's hard for them to look much better. They have looked dominant on offense and defense, and they haven't been in danger of losing. That's the best possible start for this team.

Now the Cardinals come off a bye week looking to keep their momentum rolling. They probably were annoyed that they had a bye this early after they started out playing so well. To be fair, neither one of the teams they played was even close to being good. This week's opponent is different.

This week, the Louisville Cardinals take on Georgia Tech in their first ACC game of the season. The Yellow Jackets have already played four games this season and are starting to round into shape. While Louisville is still better, bad weather could turn the tide in Georgia Tech's favor.

Louisville football vs. Georgia Tech weather forecast revealed

Louisville hasn't had any issues with the weather so far this season. All of their games have been warm and sunny. That will be the case yet again this weekend. According to the Weather Channel, it will be sunny with a temperature around 90 degrees for kickoff.

Not only will it be nice and sunny, but the wind won't be a factor either. It will only be a 2-6 mph wind with gusts near 10 mph. Neither of those numbers is high enough to truly affect anything in this game. That's good news for the Cardinals because the offense can run like a well-oiled machine.

The Yellow Jackets throw the ball more now than they ever used to, so it's unclear which team would have benefitted more from bad weather. It won't matter, though, because it will be perfect out. The only thing these two teams have to worry about is staying hydrated to avoid cramping.
