The Louisville football team is ready to get back into ACC play this weekend. They played their final non-conference game of the season last Saturday in South Bend. While the Cardinals weren't able to come away with a win, they still have all of their goals in front of them.

You can bet that Jeff Brohm will stress ball security this week in practice. The Cardinals turned it over three times against the Fighting Irish. One of them was just a flat-out drop after a perfectly placed ball from Tyler Shough. While it was misting a bit, the weather didn't play a major factor int hat game.

SMU comes to town looking to beat the Louisville Cardinals. They wouldn't like bad weather either because of how high-flying their offense is. So far, Louisville has had pretty good weather. Last weekend was the first time that the weather has been iffy. What will it be like this week?

This Saturday, the weather could not be more perfect for some football. When the game kicks off at noon ET, it will be about 73 degrees and sunny according to the Weather Channel. It will continue to be sunny throughout the duration of the game and it will get up to 79 degrees at the end of the game.

There won't be much in terms of wind either. It will only blow at about five mph. There will be no precipitation at all, either. Simply put, the weather will have no effect on the game at all. The winner will be decided by who the best team on the field is.

It should be another great day for football as we enter the heart of Fall. This is a game that the Cardinals need to win!
