Former Louisville football star Tyler Shough played his last preseason football game for the New Orleans Saints, as now head coach Kellen Moore must make a decision on who his starting quarterback will be.
Shough and Spencer Rattler have been battling it out since July to earn the starting position and after three preseason games the two quarterbacks are finally just days away from learning who the quarterback will be. The former Cardinals quarterback had a solid preseason showing as he was the star in games one and three, while Rattler was the star in game two.
It is going to be a close call for who Moore will decide, but many insiders for the Saints are giving the nod not to Shough, but to Rattler.

Tyler Shough gets brutal update ahead Week 1
After Shough's performance underwhleming performance in the Saints third preseason loss where he went 12-of-20 with a rushing touchdown, Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune/NOLA.com has "seen enough" and is ready to make the call for Moore.
"I've seen enough," Duncan stated. "Kellen Moore might not be ready to name the New Orleans Saints starting quarterback, but I am. Spencer Rattler is the guy. He's earned the right to start the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals in two weeks.
Duncan stated he "fully expects" Moore to name Rattler as the starter, and believes Rattler outperformed Shough against the Broncos starters in the final preseason game. Rattler went 5-of-8 for 43 yards for a 76.6 passer efficiency rating.
Moore stated that after the game, he will make the decision in the next few days. The Cardinals fans will be anxiously awaiting the news as they have been locked in on their former star quarterback all offseason to see if he will get the nod to start week one against the Arizona Cardinals.
