Louisville basketball picked up its 27th win on the season and secured its first-ever berth in the ACC Tournament semifinals. The Cardinals defeated Stanford on a buzzer-beater mid-range jumper from Chucky Hepburn. Hepburn asked about the shot after the game, and he kept it short and sweet.

"The mentality is to win," Hepburn stated.

Louisville saw a massive game from Terrence Edwards Jr, as he led all scorers with 25 points while shooting 65 percent from the floor and 40 percent from downtown. Noah Waterman had his best game as a Cardinal. He splashed multiple shots from downtown and earned 12 points in the Cardinals' victory. Waterman needs to keep this up deep into March and become Pat Kelsey's valuable bench piece.

The Cardinal's victory over Stanford not only marked Louisville basketball's first time to make it to the semifinals, but it also secured a glaring stat that set Louisville up for a deep postseason run.

Lousiville has broken the program's record for the most wins in conference play, the most significant turnaround in program history, the first ACC semifinal berth, and many more.

The Cardinals will take on the Clemson Tigers in tonights top 15 showdown in the ACC semifinals. Louisville basketball has shown they have the fight and roster to win the ACC, especially now that Cooper Flagg might miss the rest of the tournament.
