Small Forward: Ryan Conwell

The Cardinals frontcourt might get tricky, but this should still be an easy pick. Louisville brought in three lethal shooters from the transfer portal. We are predicting Wooley to start at the shooting guard position, McKneely to back up the Kennesaw State transfer, which then leaved Ryan Conwell to begin at the small forward position. The Xavier transfer is 6-foot-4 and will bring elite scoring to the Cardinals' frontcourt that they desperately needed.

He will be a little undersized, but his ability to knock down 3-pointers will make this Cardinals' backcourt the best in the nation. Conwell was ranked as high as No. 14 in the transfer portal and was a unanimous 4-star transfer prospect. Last season, he made the All-Big East Third Team and was the seventh leading scorer per game in the Big East. He averaged 16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 45 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from the 3-point line. The Cardinals will have three elite shooters starting in Brown, Wooley and Conwell. All three can create their shot and shoot from anywhere on the floor, but can also shoot off the pass.

Conwell will space the floor out for Wooley and Brown, but he will also be part of this three-headed monster. He will start at the small forward position but be part of this best backcourt in college basketball as he is naturally a guard at 6 foot-4, 215 pounds. The Cardinals' new elite scorer had an impressive 38-point performance last season, where he found the bottom of the net on seven 3-pointers.

The Cardinals will be a little undersized in this position, but Conwell will bring elite shooting and playmaking to the Cardinals' starting lineup, which is why it is a no-brainer that he will begin to for Kelsey next year.
