Louisville basketball has become one of the nation’s elite programs thanks to an excellent cast of players through the years. We’ll countdown our list of the top 15 players to put the Louisville logo on their chest, and don the red and black since the year 2000.

We made it to the end of the road, friends. Over the last month, we have counted down the greatest Cardinal basketball players since 2000.

We were met with excellent feedback, and varying opinions on who is truly worthy of making quite possibly the most comprehensive list in BRL history. As we arrive at our final three Cards, we gently remind you that there is no specific formula. We put this list together after careful consideration of what each player meant for the program, and how well said player performed while at Louisville.

This trip down memory lane has brought up some terrific moments that you may have forgotten about, and sparked some fun, friendly social media banter. So, without further a do, let’s count this baby down one more time, and give you the top three!

Here’s where we stand thus far:

15 – Preston Knowles

14 – Damion Lee

13 – Kyle Kuric

12 – David Padgett

11 – Donovan Mitchell

10 – Terry Rozier

9 – Earl Clark

8 – Gorgui Dieng

7 – Luke Hancock

6 – Montrezl Harrell

5 – Peyton Siva

4 – Reece Gaines
