Louisville basketball has had one of the best offseasons in college basketball. The Cardinals just found out that Adrian Wooley and Ryan Conwell will be the Cardinals' next season.

Wooley is ranked as high as a 5-star prospect in the transfer portal and the No. 3 overall player, per 247Sports. As for Conwell, On3 has him as a 4-star recruit and the No. 16 player in the portal, meaning the Cardinals just found their elite shooters for next season.

Pat Kelsey has worked miracles this offseason. Louisville was expected to focus on the shooting guard position, but landing two elite players in that position is a true dream for the fans. The Cardinals will now shift their focus to the depth and forward position.

3 absolute long-shot transfer portal targets for Louisville Basketball

The transfer portal will remain open for another 20 days as the window closes on April 22. The Cardinals have reached out to around 20 players in the transfer portal; some seem more likely than others.

Here are three absolute long-shot transfer portal targets for Louisville Basketball.

3. Keyshawn Hall

One target the Cardinals have already reached out to that would be a dream fit is the UCF transfer, Keyshawn Hall. The No. 1 ranked small forward in the portal is exactly what the Cardinals are looking for, as Louisville desperately needs a big wingman who can play stout defense but can also be an elite scorer.

The Cardinal guard position is loaded, and they must start looking for depth now. However, their forward position needs help. Hall is the perfect piece for Kelsey, but it seems unlikely that the Cardinals will land the UCF transfer as he has already met with Uconn, Kansas, and others.

Last season for the Knights, the small forward averaged 18.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.8 steals while shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc. This elite small forward scored double-digit points in every game but four games last season and scored 20 points or more in 16 games. His season high was against Arizona State, where he had an insane stat line of 40 points while shooting 72.2 percent from the field on 18 shots, 66.7 percent from beyond the arc on seven 3-pointers, and 10 for 10 from the charity stripe.

The 6-foot-7, 235-pound small forward is exactly the size and skillset the Cardinals need and provides experience as he will be a senior next season. The Cardinals fans can pray and hope they land this perfect target, but he may be out of reach.
