2. Treyshun Hurry, WR
Transfer receiver Treyshun Hurry was given the nod by head coach Jeff Brohm as the third starting receiver in Week 2’s depth chart. Hurry will play a key role being the third option to starters Chris Bell and Caullin Lacy. The 6-foot-2 junior receiver had a quiet first week, only posting 1 reception for nine receiving yards. Hurry looks to rebound this week and add another viable target to quarterback Miller Moss in the passing game.
Hurry beats out receivers Antonio Meeks and Kris Hughes for the third spot in the receiving corps. With the defense undoubtedly focusing on the two senior starters, Hurry should have plenty of opportunities for targets. It will be up to Hurry to find the holes in the defense and create the needed separation to set Miller Moss and the Louisville passing game up for success. Hurry’s play will be crucial to being the extra target needed for the defense to respect and open up another avenue for the Louisville offense to explore.
