Elite 4-star RB recruiting update every Louisville football fan is anxiously awaiting
Jones recently visited Louisville on an unoffical visit on March 5. The 4-star prospect was part of a massive recruiting spring visit. The Cardinals secured three recruits following that visit, including 4-star safety, Jaydin Broadnax. The Cardinals made their official offer to Jones earlier this year in January. The elite 2026 recruit has his official visit scheduled for this summer on June 13.
The star running back out of Jenks High School put up stellar numbers last season, rushing for 1,476 yards and 17 touchdowns. Jones secured two games last season with 200 all-purpose yards or more. He also brought in 24 catches for 256 yards and four touchdowns last season. He has had an impressive high school career, with a total of 3,998 rushing yards and 43 rushing touchdowns.
Jones has received 24 offers, including Alabama, Colorado, Kansas State, Kentucky, Oregon, SMU, Texas A&M, and others. The Cardinals made the highly recruited runningbacks' top five schools back in January. The top five schools for the unanimous 4-star running back includes: Oklahoma, Kansas, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee, and Louisville.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound running back has been seen interacting with fans on social media and even tweeted a smirk face emoji when Karsten Busch and Jaydin Broadnax announced their commitment to Louisville.
Jeff Brohm and his staff have landed four recruits in the last 11 days and are a finalist for an elite 4-star defensive lineman. If Jones picks the Cardinals, he would be Jeff Brohm's third 4-star commitment this off-season, as Jones would join Jaydin Broadnax and Evan Hampton.
Louisville football is ranked No. 8 in the nation for their 11 commitments in the class of 2026. Stay updated with all Louisville football recruiting news and updates here.
