Louisville football etched their third consecutive season of eight wins or more as in 2024 the Cardinals finished the season 9-4. FanDuel just recently released their win totals for College Football and the Louisville Cardinals, and the win total is a little shocking.
Jeff Brohm and this talented Louisville 2025 team looks to try and make history this year and win the programs first ever ACC Championship. Cardinals was in the Conference Championship in 2023, where they lost to Florida State 21-15.
FanDuel wins total for Louisville Cardinals should have Cardinals fans feeling pretty good, and not only excited to reach the over, but according to FanDuel UofL should be eying program history.
Louisville football sets eyes on program history
This Cardinals team lost some key pieces via transfer portal or the NFL draft, but brought in some major pieces like quarterback Miller Moss. Moss had 2,555 passing yards, with 18 touchdowns and a QBR of 74.4 and was one of the nations best.
Cardinals are tied with Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Indiana, and Miami with a win total of 8.5 Four teams are tied with 10.5 in Ohio State, Oregon, Notre Dame and Penn State, while Clemson leads the way with the highest win total at 9.5 in the ACC. Behind the Cardinals Hurricanes, and Tigers is Bill Belichick and his North Carolina Tar Heels at 7.5
UofL football schedule heavily favors them this year, as their out of conference opponents include Eastern Kentucky, James Madison, and Bowling Green. Cardinals open the ACC play at Pitt before hosting their first home ACC game against Virginia.
The hardest games on the Cardinals schedule include, at Miami Oct. 17, home vs Clemson Nov. 14, at SMU Nov. 22, and home for the annual rivalry vs Kentucky to conclude the regular season on Nov. 29.
According to FanDuel the matchup at Miami and home vs Clemson could be the deciding factor to punch their ticket to the ACC Championship. Cardinals have never won the ACC chip, and have only been once, back in 2023.
Cardinals offense should pick up right where it left off last year and be led by transfer quarterback Miller Moss. Louis Reddick called Jeff Brohm one of the best developers in College Football.
"Jeff and Brian Brohm, who to me, right now, there is nobody better as far as tutoring quarterbacks for the pro game in all of college football." Reddick stated on the Rich Eisen Show.
With Moss as quarterback, and Issac Brown leading the rushing attack and Caullin Lacy on the outside this Cardinals offense could be an unstoppable beast. Brown had 165 carries for 1,173 yards, and 11 touchdowns. His rushing yards ranked 24th in the nation, and he averaged the most yards per carry out of anyone in the top 25 rushing yards with 7.1 yards per carry.
Lacy being on the outside with Miller Moss will cause havoc on the defensive side. Lacy was limited last season as he got injured, but the years prior he was at South Alabama, and in 2023 he had 91 catches for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns. His 1,316 receiving yards ranked seventh in the country, and his 91 receptions ranked eighth in the nation.
This Cardinals offense should lead Louisville to be an ACC threat and the showdown at Miami and home vs Clemson will be their biggest games of the season if they want to hit that over mark and win nine games three years straight.
