Louisville football had another huge recruiting weekend over the past couple of days, as Jeff Brohm hosted more than 10 recruits on campus for official visits. Last weekend, Louisville football fans saw 15 recruits on campus, which then led to another 4-star commitment from AJ Tillman Jr. the following Monday.

And now, with it being Monday and the recruiting visits all wrapped up, Louisville football fans are wondering who could possibly commit for the second straight Monday. There were multiple notable recruits on campus, but one really stood out to the Cards fans.
Four-star linebacker Theo Wilson was on campus this weekend, and the surging linebacker emerged as the prime recruit on campus for Louisville.

Wilson was the highest-rated recruit on campus this past weekend for Louisville, as the 4-star linebacker ranks as high as No. 292 in the 2027 recruiting class, No. 20 among linebackers in the 2027 cycle and No. 32 out of Florida.
Louisville extended its offer to the 4-star Florida native back in 2025 and has been making a strong push for Wilson ever since. This past weekend was his first official visit to Louisville, and the Cards are now hoping for a commitment announcement sooner rather than later.
Wilson has received over 35 offers from big-time programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Indiana, Kentucky, and others. Wilson visited Virginia on May 29 and followed that with his trip to Louisville this past weekend, as he replaced his visit to UNC with Louisville’s visit. After the Cardinals visit, the next official visit on his list is to LSU on June 19.
Louisville and Virginia both have “warm” next to their names, according to 247Sports, which gives Cards fans a good feeling after Wilson's visit.
The 4-star linebacker is coming off a dominant season with Armwood High School as Wilson earned 96 total tackles, 34 tackles for a loss, 17 quarterback hurries, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker led Armwood to a 13-1 season and Florida’s 6A semifinals.
Out of the 10 recruits on campus, Wilson is the glaring one that Louisville and Brohm want to land. The Cardinals recently missed out on 4-star defensive lineman Malachi Brown as Kentucky landed the No. 4 recruit out of Kentucky.
And with Louisville trying to land a top 25 recruiting class in the nation, Wilson would be a massive addition to the Cardinals' commitment list. Right now, Louisville has 15 commitments and ranks No. 25 in the nation, according to 247Sports.
