Louisville football takes on Georgia Tech this evening in the Cardinals' third ACC road matchup. Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals enter the game 1-1 on the road, with a recent win over Syracuse and an earlier-season loss to North Carolina State earlier this season.
3 bold predictions for Louisville vs. Georgia Tech in Week 10
Now, they will look to improve to 6-3 on the season and win their fourth straight game. The Cardinals' three-game win streak has much to do with this explosive offense, as the group ranks No. 6 in the country in points per game.
Looking at the Cardinals' matchup against the Yellow Jackets, the recipe for a dominant win is crystal clear. Isaac Brown has really emerged as a star in this offense during the past four games, and he is poised for another big-time game Saturday evening against Georgia Tech.
Isaac Brown is poised for a huge game against Georgia Tech
Louisville’s offense is one of the most explosive groups in the country, scoring 40.4 points per game. Brohm’s offense is elite and led by its rushing attack, especially preseason All-American Isaac Brown.
Right now, this rushing attack ranks No. 9 in the nation, averaging 225.1 rushing yards per game, and Brown is currently averaging 88.4 yards per game. The elite tailback for the Cardinals started the year a bit slow, rushing for 197 yards in his first four games, but he has recently amped up his production and will be key to a dominant victory Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets defense currently has the fourth-worst rushing defense, as they are the only team from a Power Four conference to give up more than 200 yards per game, according to William McDermott.

Brown enters Saturday on a huge four-game stretch where he has rushed for 510 yards, averaging 127.5 yards per game. The preseason All-American is now up to 707 yards on the season, and entering this road matchup, the game plan should be through him.
Brown should have a field day against Georgia Tech, as the Yellow Jackets have struggled against the run all year, especially in their past two games, giving up 185 yards to Pitt’s Damon Ferguson Jr. and 170 yards to Boston College’s Mason McKenzie. Now, this rushing defense is about to face one of the nation’s top running backs, and if you're a Louisville fan, you have to be excited.
Brown has rushed for 100 yards or more in three of the last four games, including last week, when he ran for 139 yards on just nine carries, and a few weeks ago against Florida State, when he rushed for 235 yards on 17 carries.
Louisville is seeking its fourth straight win and trying to keep its ACC Title dreams alive, and its star running back is the key to Saturday's win. Expect a big game from Brown, and the preseason All-American to get 100 yards or more in his second straight game and four of his last five.
