Jeff Brohm and his Louisville Cardinals are cooking early in July, having landed three elite commitments in just a four-day window. Two of those three commitments were four stars, including offensive tackle and Kentucky native, Jarvis Strickland.
Louisville football is now trending in the right direction for another elite recruit, and it is another elite secondary prospect who is a two-way player. The Cardinals' top priority right now is 3-star cornerback Devonte Anderson out of West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla.
The 3-star cornerback has had some of the top programs recruiting him, like Miami, Auburn, Florida, Colorado, and Wisconsin, but On3 Sports and Rivals give the Cardinals a commanding lead to earn Anderson's commitment.

Louisville football is heavy favorite to land elite 3-star Devonte Anderson on July 11
Louisville is the clear favorite to land his commitment tomorrow afternoon as the elite 3-star defensive back will make his announcement on July 11. Rivals gives Louisville a 100 percent chance of earning his commitment, and On3 Sports gives Brohm's Cardinals an 89 percent chance.
The next closest team to Louisville in the On3 Sports projection is Rutgers with a 2.1 percent chance. The Cardinals are in a recruiting battle with Auburn, Miami, Rutgers, Maryland, and UCF as Anderson cut his list down earlier this summer.
If Louisville does earn his commitment tomorrow, it would be a massive pickup, as he ranks No. 877 in the nation and is now 113th out of Florida. Louisville earning the crucial commitment over ACC rival Miami (FL) would be a significant pickup for Vince Marrow and Brohm, and it would make it clear that this program is on a hot streak right now.
It is crucial in recruiting when a program gets hot, as other recruits considering it will likely get caught up in their hot streak and could be the cherry on top, causing them to commit. Right now, Louisville is one of the hottest programs in the nation and appears to be close to landing its fourth commitment in July.
