Louisville basketball fans are keeping a close eye on the Transfer Portal, which officially opens April 7 and remains open until April 21. Any college basketball player who plans to enter the portal must submit their name by the 21st, which means Louisville fans will be on the lookout for Cardinals' names, specifically Adrian Wooley.
Louisville's Adrian Wooley sparks Transfer Portal buzz with latest social media post
The former 5-star transfer committed to Louisville over Alabama, Auburn, and Kansas, but his name has been on the transfer watch since he hinted at possibly leaving Louisville and entering the Transfer Portal. Pat Kelsey will already lose Ryan Conwell, Isaac McKneely, and Kobe Rodgers due to eligibility, and will likely lose Mikel Brown Jr. to the 2026 NBA Draft, so if Wooley were to leave, his roster would take a major hit.
However, a recent SEC star just entered the Transfer Portal, making it seem as if Wooley were to break Louisville’s hearts and transfer, this Georgia transfer would be the perfect replacement.
Pat Kelsey must go all-in on Jeremiah Wilkinson this offseason
One of the biggest names to enter the Transfer Portal now is the Georgia transfer, Jeremiah Wilkinson. Many Louisville fans will recognize that name not just from his breakout year with the Bulldogs, but he spent his freshman season with Cal, where he won the ACC Sixth Man of the Year award.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound sophomore combo guard was a 4-star transfer out of Cal last offseason and ranked No. 94 overall and No. 21 among point guards. He averaged 15.1 points on 40 percent shooting from the field in his freshman year.
He then transferred to Georgia, where he stepped up his game, averaging 17.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 41% from the floor and 35.7% from beyond the arc. The sophomore guard scored 20 points or more in 10 games, 25 points or more in six games, and 30 points or more in three games.
The elite guard scored 30 points in Georgia’s NCAA Tournament loss to Saint Louis, where he shot 43 percent from the field and 47 percent from beyond the arc after splashing seven 3’s. In the year he made 79 3-pointers, the guard is an elite iso player who can attack the rim and use his speed for easy layups.
His career high came against Notre Dame, his freshman year, when he scored 36 points on 61 percent shooting from the field and 62.5 percent from 3-point range. If Wooley were to enter the Transfer Portal, the Cardinals must attack the portal and get their next combo guard, who can not only score but also defend.
The Cardinals fans are on the lookout to see whether Wooley enters the portal. They want the former 5-star back and playing for Louisville, but if he leaves, Wilkinson emerges as the perfect replacement.
