Louisville basketball landed two transfer commitments in the previous two days. Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals landed 4-star transfer De’Shayne Montgomery on Friday, as Kelsey added a two-way guard who can score and be a pest on defense, and on Saturday, he landed Gabe Dynes, who is 7-foot-5 and had the third-most blocks in Division I basketball his sophomore season.

The Cardinals have now landed six transfers this offseason and have Adrian Wooley and London Johnson as well. So, this roster is slowly being rebuilt, and the fans are loving what Kelsey is doing. He has the No. 1 overall portal class in the nation, and when looking at who could be next, the Louisville fans have a good idea of who that could be.

Louisville recently took a visit to see an under-the-radar power forward, Mohammad Habhab. The Eastern Michigan forward started his career at Central Michigan but played just two minutes the whole year after redshirting, and then transferred to Eastern Michigan.

With the Eagles, he was a double-double machine whom Kelsey saw firsthand and is now trying to bring to Louisville as they want to contend for an ACC and NCAA Title.

Habhab went on to average a dominant stat line of 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game. He shot 40.1 percent from the field, earned 10 double-doubles on the season, including a 12-point, 11-rebound, and four steals performance against Louisville, and he went on to make the MAC All-Freshman Team.

The redshirt freshman earned 20 points or more seven times and blocked two shots or more in 15 games this past season. He also secured his first career triple-double when he had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, while adding 1 block and 1 steal against Oakland this past season.

Louisville needs frontcourt depth, and with the Cardinals spending big money on a lot of these transfers so far, it wouldn’t be shocking if Kelsey goes out and finds a hidden gem. The 6-foot-9, 205-pound forward is trending toward being the Cardinals' under-the-radar transfer commitment this offseason, and if the Cardinals extend the offer to Habhab, it wouldn’t be shocking if he commits to Louisville.
