Louisville basketball got the massive update fans had been waiting for. Flory Bidunga officially withdrew his name from the 2026 NBA Draft, which means the 5-star transfer is now a Louisville Cardinal and will play for the program this upcoming season.
Bidunga entered his name in the NBA Draft, and the Kansas transfer had until May 27 to decide whether to remain in the draft or return to play college basketball. After 10 NBA executives voted he should return to college basketball and few predicted he would be a first-round pick, Bidunga ultimately decided to withdraw his name from the draft, giving Louisville fans the news they had been waiting for.

New major program enters Milan Momcilovic recruiting battle
The Cardinals' dominant offseason isn’t over just yet. Louisville fans have their eyes on 5-star transfer Milan Momcilovic, and Jeff Goodman recently reported that there's a new team Louisville has to worry about. Leading up to this week, everyone was only mentioning three teams for Momcilovic: Louisville, Kentucky, and St. John’s. However, that is no longer the case as Goodman reported Arizona is now making a “strong push” for Momcilovic.
"The team trying to gain ground, per my sources, is Arizona," Goodman stated. "And a big part of that is they believe they're going to lose Koa Peat."
Momcilovic ranks No. 2 overall in the Transfer Portal and is a unanimous 5-star transfer. He is currently deciding whether to return to college basketball or keep his name in the NBA Draft, and with Arizona entering the recruiting battle, it is clear that if Momcilovic does return, many more powerhouse programs will try to join the fight for him as well.

Louisville footbal's 4-star WR Chuck Alexander on flip watch
Louisville football has had an eye-popping 2027 recruiting class so far, but Jeff Brohm now has to worry about a couple of commitments flipping. One of Louisville’s top-ranked commitments in the 2027 recruiting class, Chuck Alexander, is all of a sudden on flip watch as the 4-star recruit set a visit up with Wisconsin and South Carolina in June, and then one with Louisville on June 29.
It is also reported that Michigan might earn a visit. Alexander is a 4-star wide receiver who ranks No. 14 out of Ohio, No. 49 among wide receivers, and No. 378 overall in the 2027 class. Louisville already saw 4-star quarterback Jack Sorgi decommit from the Cards and flip to Wisconsin, and now it appears the Badgers are trying to do that again with Alexander.
