The Louisville Cardinals go one and done in the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship as Dan McDonnell and his Cards' got upset last night by the Pittsburgh Panthers 13-11. The Cardinals were the No. 10 seed in the ACC Tournament, and had NCAA Tournament implications on the line, but the Cardinals gave up three in the first, then went down 8-1 after four innings, and mustered a massive comeback but blew it in the ninth.
Louisville went on to tie the game 11-11 in the eighth, but it would give up a two-run home run in the top of the ninth and lose the game 13-11. The Cardinals hope their regular-season resume is enough to get them in the Big Dance. The Cardinals will tune into ESPN 2 on Monday, May 26, at noon local time to watch the NCAA Selection Show.

Louisville basketball's Aly Khalifa situation reveals massive hole
Louisville basketball learned they received their third commitment from the class of 2025 in Mouhamed Camara on Monday afternoon. Camara is expected to be a crucial two-way star for Pat Kelsey and his Cardinals, but even after Camara's commitment, Louisville must address this glaring hole.
The Cardinals' center position appears to be thin, especially after James Scott transferred and Aly Khalifa was ruled ineligible. The Cardinals are running out of options if Khalifa's appeal is denied, and while Louisville's roster is loaded, it would be a nice roster boost to land a 7-foot center to add much-needed depth at the center position.
