Louisville basketball fans get a big-time update, as it was reported that Pat Kelsey and his staff are looking a couple of years down the line, having officially made an offer to 5-star Javon Bardwell. The game-changing small forward is ranked as high as No. 15 in the 2027 cycle and is the seventh-best small forward and second-best recruit out of Arizona.
The 6-foot-6, 175-pound small forward played with Overtime Elite last season, averaging 17.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor and 32.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Louisville football loses crucial 3-star OL to USF
It appeared a couple of weeks ago that the addition of Vince Marrow was already helping the Cardinals land big-time recruits, but after a recent visit, USF Benjamin Corhei announced he will decommit from Louisville football and now verbally commit to the Bulls. This crushing news came as a shock on June 28, as Louisville was thrilled to earn the 3-star offensive lineman commitment.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound linemen earned over 27 offers, including offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Miami, Pittsburgh, Tulane, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and many more.

Louisville basketball adds the Baylor Bears to 2025-26 season
The Louisville Cardinals add the Baylor Bears to their out-of-conference schedule. This matchup will take place on Valentine's Day from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. While this matchup is sure to be thrilling and exciting, it appears that the Cardinals' out-of-conference schedule will be incredibly tough and highly challenging.
While it will be exciting and challenging and hopefully battle-test them, it may also wear them out and make them tired when March arrives.

Briggs Cherry out performs multiple 5-star QBS
Louisville football's 4-star commit Briggs Cherry continues to make a name for himself this offseason as he earned the best arm award from the Elite 11 Finals. Cherry won this award fromĀ 247Sports' Andrew Ivins, one of the most respected recruiting experts in the nation.
The future Cardinal recently made the jump from being a 3-star to a 4-star and from being unranked to No. 128 in the nation, per Rivals. He won this award as one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the 2026 cycle, including the top two quarterbacks in the class, Faizon Brandon, Dia Bell, and more.
