Louisville basketball recently got some good news from Flory Bidunga as the 5-star transfer officially signed with the Louisville Cardinals. In April, Bidunga committed to Louisville from Kansas via the Transfer Portal, and he is currently going through the NBA Draft process.
However, few think Bidunga will remain in the NBA Draft, and his official signing with the Cardinals suggests an obvious decision regarding the NBA Draft. The Cardinals are having an eye-popping offseason and are a legitimate Final Four contender the way the roster stands, so Bidunga’s decision is a massive choice for this team.
After Bidunga officially signed with Louisville, it certainly feels like all signs are pointing towards him returning, but as of right now, there has been no official announcement that he has withdrawn from the NBA Draft.

Milan Momcilovic: Louisville vs. Kentucky showdown
Pat Kelsey’s roster is set for the most part, but the Cardinals are looking to add one last piece. Louisville is in the mix for Milan Momcilovic, as the Cards were named a frontrunner last week by Jeff Goodman, and now Goodman says this could be a battle between the two in-state rivals.
Goodman stated that Momcilovic wants a 1st-round promise to stay in the draft, but with $6 million reported as the price tag, it is hard to imagine the 5-star not returning to college basketball. So, with him already in the portal, three teams remain linked to Momcilovic, including Louisville, Kentucky, and St. John’s.

Jeff Brohm lands 3-star DL
Jeff Brohm and Louisville football continue to turn heads with the 2027 recruiting class, as the Cardinals landed their 14th commitment earlier this week. Louisville learned that 3-star defensive lineman Jesiah Fields committed to the Cardinals after earning over 27 offers.
Other schools that extended offers to Fields included Florida State, Miami, USC, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Texas, and others. The 3-star lineman ranks No. 525 in the 2027 recruiting class, No. 53 among defensive linemen, and No. 16 among North Carolina recruits.
